where do these worms come from? My dog is practically home we have no backyard and he still got it why?

I noticed little white worms in my dog’s feces. They are about the size and similar in appearance to uncooked rice, which I believe are roundworms. I can not afford a vet right now. Is there an effective and SAFE over-the-counter pet med I can get that would help deworm him?

omg. my dog just craped in the house. it was all runny and messy looking. kinda jiggly and gelatin like in some parts.. and there were small FLAT WHITE WORMS crawling on it. OMG . i gave her a appt tomarrow. but . anyone know what kinda worms those are? how’d she get them?

I have two dogs. They eat out of this bowl, but not as much. Tonight I fingered through the food and food little white worms all over the bottom. Do I need to get help immediately or is it my fault for not cleaning the bowl often enough?

Anytime my cat or dog get woms, my vet gives me meds for both of them to treat the worms and the fleas. My guess would be that if the cat has worms, the dog might also, especially if they both have fleas. Eating out of the same bowl is kind of irrelavent.

If it is tapeworm, you have to get some worm medicine from the vet. Over the counter wormer is not much good. The stuff the vet gives you is real good and should take care of the problem. There will be 2 doses of it, and is fairly cheap. Your best bet if you are not sure what kind of worms, is to take a fresh sample to the vet and have him check it to make sure of what type of worms they are. Tape worms will look like little pieces of dried up rice right around the outside of the dogs rectum, because they will crawl out.

My dog vomited this morning and there were several worms. One was about 3 inches long. He had been tested at the vet when we got him about 3 months ago and he was negative. He takes his heartguard medicine. Can these intestinal worms invade his heart? How long has he had them if they are that big and what damage would they have caused.

I clean up poop twice a day and broadcast epsom salt periodically. I was told that would help. Is there anything else I can spray on the lawn to control the larvae?

What kind of worms do kittens get? I know a lot of kittens have worms when they are little and need dewormed asap. I was wondering if they were tape worms, round worms, or what kind of worms? Can people get them? If so, how? This is kind of out there but can a worm fall out of their butts onto the floor? Should they not sleep in the bed with me if they have worms? Am I going to get worms?
