are they both neutered. If not that may help. Ask your vet for some helpful tips on how to blend the 2 dogs into the home. Good luck!

I think you should try to find a new home for the stray. If he isn't getting along with the other dog you already had they probably won't ever get along so i would just try to find the stray a new home.

good on you for trying, but you can't keep this dog. take him to a shelter, check if there are any no- kill shelters around your area but with both health, behavior and socialisation problems, re- homing may not even be the best thing for him.

Before choosing between the two dogs, I recommend going to see a professional dog trainer (try Petsmart for references) and get some behavioral ideas from him or her.
I know that not all dogs get along 100% of the time, but perhaps this is something that is correctable.

You have done a wonderful thing but it doesn't sound like it will work out with your current dog. That happens.
Here are links to both PetFinder and Pet Harbor. Many smaller shelters with a higher adoption rate, and a more no-kill policy likely exist in your area that you aren't even aware of. I'll bet one of them can help you.http://www.petharbor.com/default.asphttp://www.petfinder.com/
Thanks for what you have done

Hi
In this case, my suggestion would be to try and find this dog a suitable home. If you turn him in to the pound, you know what the likely result will be. Perhaps until you find a home, keep him comfortably outside, and keep your lab inside, except for walks. It's nice that you are helping him, and hopefully you can find him a suitable home soon.
Best of luck,
Rebel

I think you have made a good effort and have been very kind to try to take this dog in and take care of his medical needs.
I would go ahead an turn the dog into the shelter. The peeing in the house and the fighting is just more then you or your own dog should have to endure.
