She’s a golden/shep mix. She’s fixed. She doesn’t have worms. I keep catching her rubbing her butt and I’ve been finding skid marks on my carpet! Please help!

This is going to sound so gross… but she needs her anal glands emptied…. they build up pressure in the anus and makes them itch, the only way to relieve herself is to …”carpet surf” Have your vet do it… Very inexpensive!

She needs her anal glands excised. They are probably bothering her. You can have the Vet or a groomer do it. You can be taught to do it yourself, but it’s not very pleasent. And, what comes out doesn’t smell like roses.

wipe her bum bum for her so that she does not need to do that.

sound gross.. but if its not worms and you know it.. then she knows cause they know.. that she jsut doesnt feel clean .. so when she comes back in from doing her thing.. you might need to help reassure her as well as save yoru carpet , furniture, but using something like flushables..
definitly call a vet though.. that was just the problem i had and how i helped my baby work thru it.. yours could be soemthing else.. but who knows.. could be worth a shot??

Her butt itches so she tries her best to scratch it- I would bet she has worms.

Maybe give her a bath, she might be dirty and needs the dried waste taken off. Thats only if your 100% she does not have worms. If you dont know for sure take her to the vet.
