How Do I Kill Worms Without Killing The Plant?
I have a corn plant that is very beautiful but I noticed that it had some kind of dark brown worms infested in it. I want to kill the worms because if I don’t eventually I know that it will kill my plant. How do I get rid of them without repotting as that will kill the plant too.

Those are not worms. They are caterpillars and if they are corn earworms then those are hard to destroy. The tedious method is three days after the silks appear you place 20 drops of mineral oil at the base of each ears silks, repeat every three days. If not earworm then you might try bacillus thurengensis (sp?). This is a bacteria that kills caterpillars and is harmless to anything else.

SEVIN dust sp? good for tomato, corn plants, not damaging, also safe to eat harvest later, washes off. should help kill off pests, including worms
