I cannot worm my dog as she has an extremely sensitive stomach but know that garlic is good at preventing worms and also good for dogs generally, anyone know of any good ones and where you get them from? My dog is roughly 16kg.

its a paste in a tube at walmart for roughly 10 bucks a tube, but if you use an over the counter kind make sure to follow up in 7 days as they will kill the worm but not the egg that usually hatches in 7 to 10 days.

I have 7 puppies that are 2 weeks old today. I have read on the internet and have been told by my vet that I need to start a dewormer medication at 2 weeks. From 2 weeks it goes to 4, 6, and 8 weeks and then once a month after that. whats the best dewormer for puppies? I don’t mind going to the vet, but if I can order the medication online (pets meds, etc.), for cheaper, that would be great!

I just lifted up her tail – parted the hair-and there’s nothing. If she has worms…..wouldn’t it be noticeable?

We have goats that keep getting bottle jaw. They are about 6 months old. We have moved paddocks and tried at least 3 types of drench but 1 goat still has the worms. Any help?

You should definitely get the Pyrantel dewormer from the vet. It is the most effective and will get your new puppy on the right track!

SafeGuard is safe for pregnant goats but it is pretty limited in the worms that it will kill. If you suspect that your goat is having an issue with parasites, I would recommend getting a fecal done at the vet to identify exactly what you are dealing with. That will help you know what type of wormer you need to use.
I use Molly’s herbal wormer for all my goats. It is a little more labor intensive as you have to give it once a week, but it is healthier for the goats and there is no milk withdrawal time. Molly’s herbal formula is designed so that you can worm them during pregnancy with part of it. You can see more on the herbal wormer at http://fiascofarm.com/herbs/wormer.htm
