They were small tape worms and they seemed gone immediately and today they are like an inch long. It’s extremely disguisting and I have no idea what I should use. I know I could just go to the vet, but I’m really tight with money right now and would rather just buy whatever product I need. Any help would be grateful. Thanks!

First of all did your puppy get the two 5 in 1 shots before you gave the 7 in 1? Also, how many times has he been dewormed? It can be done 3 times at 2 week intervals. Last but not least, does he still have runny stool? If so, more than likely you gave him too much de-wormer. You also need to get in touch with a vet right away if this has been going on for a number of days before your puppy gets dehydrated or worse! Always make sure you have thoroughly researched things before you just go giving shots, etc. If you are unsure or have questions, there are plenty of vets out there and will often answer a question over the phone.

my 10 week old puppy had a dewormer today. Liquid injected by mouth. She is having more bowl movements than normal and her stool is a little soft, some dripping but not diarrhea. Hey guys, I was chatting to a friend of mine the other day who gave me some horse dewormer powder and dog dewormer tabs and I asked if he could spare some cat dewormer too, he then told me to break 1 dog tab in half and give it to my cat, would this harm my cat if I did this? because Im worried that it would be too strong for him (the cat is 11 years young) I would buy some cat dewormer but with all the money shortages I’m finding it difficult to get the supplies needed.

Any pyrantel pamoate liquid product can be used for young puppies. I like D-worm, but any will do. I don’t use Fenbendazole on such small puppies.
