I am assuming your dogs water source is outside?
Probably mosquito larvae, they populate standing water. Turn over possible reservoirs that can hold water and harbor larvae.
Change out your dogs water daily or bring it inside, if you can.
Talk to your vet about larvae and how to treat your dog.

Sometimes he does it when I give him a treat. He’ll roll on it , then eat it. I know other people said that their dog also does it but not outside on dead things. Can you help?

Ok so i have a 13 week old female puppy who has been sleeping with me everynight since i got her 2 weeks ago. I took her to the vet this past monday to get her 2nd round of shots. The vet took a fecal exam and was happy to exclaim that my macy was worm free! So she sent me home and everything was going great…UNTIL four nights ago. I woke up wednesday morning and found little brownish rice looking pellets where she had been sleeping…on my pillow, on the blankets etc. I didnt think anything of it i just thought it might be some of her beef dingo bone she had been chewing. So anyways i know its NOT the bone and im really curious to what these are? There a brownish tent and hard, about the size of a grain of rice. Since my vets closed today i was hoping someone would know something. Please help! Im not gonna get worms am i???

he is still very active when you intise him, but likes to just lay around the house. Help, hubby coming home in Nov and dont want diogy to not be around.

My dog is four years old. He is our only pet. Our back yard is fenced in so he is the only dog that is ever out there. Yesterday I stepped in poop in the backyard. I left my sandals outside next to the back door. Today when I was in the back yard I noticed a long (at least 6 inches) skinny white worm on the side of my sandal. I have checked my dog’s poop today..no worms. I called the vet, and they gave me some worm medicine to give him for three days. I mean worms like that just don’t appear out of nowhere..right? Wouldn’t that mean my dog has to have worms even if I’ve not seen any in his poop? He acts fine. I’m confused. Any thoughts?

my dog has heart-worms, he is roughly about 5 or 6 years old and now farther in his diagnosis he is bleeding anally. it is a mucus with bloody type discharge. does this mean he is in the last stages experiencing congestive heart failure?

My 8-week old puppy has roundworms, she was diagnosed after a vet visit along with coccidia. The vet gave her Strongid T, she was taken to the vet on Tuesday and vet administered the dewormer and today is Friday and she is still excremiting worms, some dead and alive. Is this normal or should I still call the vet back and let her know that she is still passing worms. Also I gave her an Interceptor tablet today which is a heartworm pill which also protects against worms. Should I be concerned?

We have a worm bed that we are trying to build up to have plenty of bait to fish this spring and summer. We’ve tried digging holes, leaving wet cardboard overnight and other things and haven’t had much luck at all. Our weather here has been kind of spastic..in the high 60s last week and low 40s this week so i don’t know if that has any bearing on finding worms or not. Any tips, tricks or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

On the receipt it said <25lbs of dewormer. Plus my puppy is not himself since we got back home. I'm so used to him running and acting hyper:( what did they do to him?
