My dog has roundworms but instead of getting dewormer from a vet, my mom bought D-Worm from a store. Is it just as effective as Drontal for example?

I usedSafeGaurd 4 Canine Dewormer for three days. All three of those days I saw no worms. But today he had hard worms in all three excriments. Does this meen the medication is working? Does the worms being hard meen they are dead? PLease let me know.

I was told by a non-gardening person that worms where good for your garden. If that is true can i just get some bait worms and through them in the garden or is there a difference.

My kitten is about 14 weeks old.
The poor thing has fleas, and worms.
No matter how much flea and tick shampoo we use on him, it never seems to work.
We have also tryed flea collars, which have failed miserably.
Also, no matter what dewormer we try, we still see worms in his poop. Anyone have any suggestions? We are worried that soon we could possibly be getting worms..

Any pyrantel pamoate liquid product can be used for young puppies. I like D-worm, but any will do. I don’t use Fenbendazole on such small puppies.

The safe guard that I have heard of is a cattle dewormer so I would not use that on puppies or dogs. There is a dewormer called Nemex that works for everything except tapeworms and you can buy it at most Coops or TSC. The active ingredient pyrantel pamoate is VERY very safe which is not the case of the dewormers in most livestock deworming medicines.

yesterday i discovered that one of my puppies (of 11 litters) has roundworms – i found it in his poop. is it safe to assume the mom and the others have it too? cause the mom eats the poop and she breast feeds the puppies. is there any good dewormer that i can use? please help!!

your vets should be able to give you good dewormer names…
