I was walking my dog, and when he pooped, I noticed a tiny worm, or a caterpillar in his feces. Please help, I have no idea what this is!
Does anyone know what causes this and what I should do?

My dog vomited this morning and there were several worms. One was about 3 inches long. He had been tested at the vet when we got him about 3 months ago and he was negative. He takes his heartguard medicine. Can these intestinal worms invade his heart? How long has he had them if they are that big and what damage would they have caused.

My cat has worms. I can’t afford to take it to the vet right now. What is the best store bought cure to get rid of worms. My cat is 3 years old.

She’s a little yorkie papillion mix, know their lean but she looks bad!I cant afford the vet right now cause of the economic clapse,if I can help it i dont wanna give her away,any good ideas about what I ca do o any free resources that may be out there to help….besides a bullet?

my dog is being treated for tape worms, but now it seems he only poops once a day and its in the mourning when he normally poops 4 times a day. is that normal? Help

7 year old mutt, has eaten Wellness’s Sweet Potato & Whitefish for 5 months w/out issues. Eats 2x a day, has appetite, is not lethargic. Takes allergy medicine (Hydroxizine) 2x a day in banana. 2 slices of banana r only extra food. Stopped allergy medicine but diarrhea persisted & her allergies flared up so re-started it. Tried white rice but diarrhea continued w/ visible undigested rice. Drinks water regularly.
After 2 weeks of diarrhea, it got more liquidy & she had accidents in the house. Stools were occasionally covered in white mucus & bits of blood. @ vet tested negative 4 worms (thru stool sample), got a 10 day treatment of metronidazole 2 encourage solid poop/treat possible giardia. After 7 days & no improvement, vet wrote prescription 4 stronger medication. Next day started having solid poop & never used stronger meds.
Now, 2 weeks after meds, diarrhea is back & yesterday poop was covered in black mucus.
Can spending more time @ home alone b a cause? ANY suggestions?

hello, i have a beautiful rottweiler who is 7 in under 1 month’s time. she has always been very healthy, beautiful coat, loves walks and her food. every year when the season changes from winter to summer she starts biteing her back and constantly scratches it, this has happened since she was 1 years old and every year the vet says’ the same thing, that she is illergic to the natural changes in the air and we are always given the same cream and told exactly the same thing.
the same thing has started to happen again (1 week ago) and this time it is awful, she is always flead and de wormed but she seems to have fleas’ really bad and nothing is getting rid of them which must be awful for her and must be driving her mad, i’ve taken her to the vet and yet again they said the same thing so i changed vets and they said the same, the fleas are awful and none of the treatments are working not even the ones’ from the vets, please help the fleas are awful i do not know what to do, could i have some advice or if this has happened to your dog before?
she is very well looked after, i have had her for 7 years, she has 4 walks a day, fed all the right food and has acsess to water 24/7 and had alot of love and cuddles all day every day and is a much loved family member so it is not nice for me to see her like this and the vets’ arnt much use it feels like they are happy taking £150 off me each time i visit and each time i’m given cream!

He has worms How do you prevent them and get rid of them without vet treatment i am taking him to the vet but is there a way

Please help hes been having dirreah and I think he has worms in his stomach PS I bought him from a guy who came 2 my dads job and when we got him he was sick so what do you guys reccomend please help and dont say I dont know

What is the average age a dog will get heart worm??? I have a 2 yr old dog that is very HYPER and happy but he has a cough that sounds like a cat with a fur ball. He went to the vet last weekend to get kennel cough treatment( 2 injections and antibiotics) but he is still coughing. He had his heart worm tablets 3 months ago and is due to get more but should i give him the tablets if he might possibly have heart worm…Please dont say go to the vet as atm i cant afford it and was wondering if i can give the heart worm treatment now and he wont die of a heart attack if he actually has heartworm. I dont think he does because at the moment he is very active like normal and he only has a cough that occurs about once every two days so its not often he has it. He only recently got this cough and do you think that this might be because of the change in season ( its spring in australia ) thanks !!! will deffinetly choose best helpful and not rude answer!!!
