My dog eats table food sometimes. i dont know what I should do to prevent my female pug from getting worms.

Can’t bomb house due to one year old daughter. These are indoor cats and I still am shocked that they even have worms.

My crop of tomatoes from last year was attacked by some green hornedback worms. I would like to know what can be used to eliminate them should I have that problem again.

The worms go right to the seed. Please give me a few suggestions on how I can save my apples.

She is a 2ish year old puggle dog we adopted from a shelter. Is there something we should be doing or something she shold be taking to prevent worms? Or is this not an abnormal occurance?

I have a 4 year old dog and a 9 month old dog. My older dog rarely gets the runs, maybe like once a year. My puppy has had the runs at least one day per week for the last month. They both eat the same food and they both drink a lot of water. They are both up to date with all their shots, flea treatments and worming treatments, as they always are.
I feed them an all natural tin dog food every day and I cook them an organic steak each once a fortnight. I also cook them chicken breast once a fortnight, I alternate every week with either stake or chicken, as well as their can food. They also have 100% natural chicken and beef sticks as snacks and 100% beef jerky. Sometimes they have a bit too much and maybe that’s why she’s getting the runs? I don’t feed them any other people food because I don’t know if it will be bad for them.
It doesn’t matter what I feed them, the puppy still some how gets the runs, she loves food and tries to eat everything lol I put some bird seed out in my back yard for the birds yesterday and I looked out there and she was eating it, my older dog has never eaten seed. I noticed last night that both of my dogs had the runs and I’m starting to get worried. Could it be caused by over feeding, they had a rawhide stick filled meat stuff yesterday, one each. They haven’t been poisoned they are always indoors except for when they go outside to do their business and I go out with them so I know what’s going on.
Is it her diet that is causing this or is there something wrong with her insides? I’m about to make an appointment with the vet but I just thought I’d ask here for more opinions since the appointment will be after Xmas and I was going to give them Xmas food like chicken, salad, veggies, prawns. Not sure if I should now. Is this serious or am I worrying over nothing ?

We clean the bowls everyday, pick up their poop, keep the food in containers. Is there any other ways to prevent worms? Also any tips on how to keep the yard free of fleas?

ask your vet about monthly treatments such as tri heart and heartguard, not only does this prevent Heartworms but it also gives them a dose for other worms as well
