i have to take mine to the vet today and when i gave her some of my own dewormer it cost me $160 to take her to the vet because she broke out in hives and bloated up… im worried.

last evening he went outside to do his thing and these long worms came out! what type of worm is it? it was 2-3 inches long a yellowish color, thin, it tried to go back inside him after he did his thing, but i got paper towell and pulled it out. he also later on threw some of them up.plese help!

I have a 9 yr old Siberian Husky.
She’s been taking Heart guard medication since August 2008, when she was diagnosed with heart worms. The vet said this was an alternative treatment.
She has been doing so well, until now.
Today, she hasn’t been acting herself.
She’s sluggish, and coughing and breathing really heavily.
I’ve concluded that it’s probably the heart worms, if anything.
Is there really anything i can do at this point to help her?
I feel so helpless at the moment.
it hurts me to see her like this.

my cavalier king charles spaniel has been sick 2 days in a row , i wormed her on Wednesday with worming treatment from the vets could it be that ? She is still playing with my other dog but me being an overworrier wanted to just check if anyone has had similar problems.

I have a black chow. She has been my baby for 9 1/2 years. I took her to the vet and he told me she has heart worms. Her treatment will cost around 300 dollars. I also have two more dogs that have heart worms and they too will cost me 300 dollars apiece to get treatment. Problem is I have had my own share of medical problems and have only went back to work about two weeks ago. There is not 900 dollars to get them the treatment that they need. Any other suggestions on what can be done for them? They are all my family. The two male dogs are my little boys and the black chow is mine. I want to do all I can to help them, if only there was a cheaper way, they could all get treatment at the same time.

My dog just pooped mushy poop with noodle like worms in his poop. Since our vet is closing at 6 and it is past 6, we will have to be around him until tomorrow. Is it ok? I mean, are we risking a chance of getting worms, or sick somehow? Is it ok to pet the dog? Is there anything we can do since we dont have medicine? Help!

He has had a very bad upset stomach. I went ahead and gave him one dose of worm medicine last night, he has 2 more treatments left. I am not sure if I should continue to give him this worm medicine since he is just getting over this bout of diarrhea Thanks
