We got two puppies tonight. They are both mixes, and probably weren’t well taken care of. I am getting them both to the vet this weekend, they both came home and had much needed baths. I think the one has worms, her belly seems really bloated?

I just lifted up her tail – parted the hair-and there’s nothing. If she has worms…..wouldn’t it be noticeable?

I heard that your dog can pass worms from it to you, if its true how do you know if you’ve caught’en worms.

I have 3 dogs and found worms in the poop.I took them to the vet and wormed all 3 because I didn’t know which one it was. The worms are white and look like rice. About two weeks later I noticed them again… wormed them again with cestex. It’s about a week later and there are still worms. About 20 seconds after the worms touch air they die, could they just be maggots? I’m tired of worrying. Need help!!!!

She doesn’t have those hairless spots. The Dr. said my daughter has ring worms and she could have got it from our dog. Of course I freaked out!! The pictures online doesn’t look like the spots on my daughter but I’m using the anti-fungal cream anyway. Our dog is an inside dog. Can anyone help?

My 2 month old kitten has really bad gas. Right now she is sleeping on my lap. I had my hand on her belly, and it feels like there is something moving inside her stomach. Her vet gave her some wormer when we first got her, and I have recently given her some of the wormer you can buy at a pet supply store. I do not see worms in her feces. The only sign of worms is her bloated belly and that feeling of something moving.

Does the dog act aggressive, withdrawn or sickly?
My dog seems to be coughing or gagging alot and she seems to be stiff at times. Lately, she has been eating dry dog food that is all natural and I feed her Kibbles n Bits with gravy as well. She has eaten more of the dry food vs the can food. When she vomitted it was clear and bubbly with lil bits of the dry food in it. I view her stool everytime she passes thinking that I will see something (unusual) but nothing every comes out that is.
This dog is really starting to act strange….im not sure if she has worms or not. Im so upset to see her moping around with the droopy eye look.
Does anyone know ..what are the signs are if a dog has heart worms? Or, if she is just plain ole’ sick…..

My cats have worms and I bought medicine for them, it said it’s for round worms. Is it the same as heart worms? How can I tell which worms my cats even have? PLEASE don’t say to go to the vet. I WOULDN’T be here asking if I had the money to ask a vet. Basically, it’s little white things that come out the cats anus. I found out yesterday that my pregnant cat has this affliction as well. She should be giving birth in 1-2 weeks. Is it all right to give her the medicine as well?

And how they are sick or in need of medical attention.
