What are the odds that my dogs have heartworms? I have 3 dogs a 1 year old male Papillon 8lbs! A one year old female Doxie/Corgi mix 14lbs! And a 1 year old male German Shepard mix 55lbs! I know the testing for heartworms is expensive! I have already purchased heart worm preventatives! But i don’t wanna waste them! I live in northern Ca! Thanks in advance! Oh another question! Can dogs get asmatha (spelling ??)

i recently noticed that the walls of my tank are covered with tiny white worms. what are these guys and are they gonna hurt the guppies that iv got in there atm? also how do i get rid of them if they’re a bad thing.

I usedSafeGaurd 4 Canine Dewormer for three days. All three of those days I saw no worms. But today he had hard worms in all three excriments. Does this meen the medication is working? Does the worms being hard meen they are dead? PLease let me know.

so we had our dogs and there food dishes out in our yard when it was nice. a few days after the dog tipped over his dish of dry cibble (we leave it down for them to eat during the day) and we found small worm like bugs (there was about 4) insisde with the food.
We did throw away the bag of food that it came from incase it wasn’t from when we were outside, bought new dishes for the dogs. But we do want to make sure they will be ok and won’t get sick from eating that food.

There has been a dog that has been running around my mom’s neighborhood for awhile now so I decided to keep her because I felt sorry for her & I know she has worms because she’s a stray, but I wanted to know if there are any home remedies that I can do to get rid of them or at least keep them under control until I can afford to take her to a vet? And somebody told me that garlic will help them… is that true? Please help!

Please, What are some signs that my dog has heart worms shes been moving slow (shes not that old) shes been hanging around me alot lately (which she doesnt do so much unless its play time) And she did that butt thing on the carpet if u know what i mean my friend thinks i have to give daily medicine but she has never been sick or anything we have never givin her medicine before (not that i know of) so just making sure what are some signs of heart worms?

What are some symptoms?

Intestinal worms are not all microscopic as one correspondent claimed. Some are a few millimeters long and very much visible in feces. There are however, tapeworms that left untreated will grow almost as long as the intestine itself, you’d certainly see that if you watched it come out.
Why are you so worried though? Get treated and get rid of the worms, they are parasites and drain your well-being.
There are no anthelmintic drugs that will break them down sufficiently that you won’t see something emerge. But, that’s not the issue, you just need to kill them before they cause you further harm. Just don’t look in the bowl after you “finish”

So this mrning my cat woke me up crying and I went to go see what was wrong with her. At first I thought she had poop stuck to her butt(it’s happened before,she has long hair). Anyway I was trying to comfort her when I noticed that the paper she was sitting on had tiny little worms on it. They were tiny whitish/wiggly worms, I immedialtley put her in the bathroom with food. I have another cat soo i didnt want her to get infected/ I called my vet but he isn’t working today. SO i went petco and got the tapeworm medicine and some liquid wormer, the only probelem is I don’t know which to give her. If she has tapeworm would there be wiggling white worms coming out of her butt?
