My dog have tapeworms and i give him a dewormer from safe-guard,but i am not sure how often and how much regular food my dog can eat.He is a Labrador and he is 6 months old

I just found out, 1. my dog has tape worm…poor doggy and 2. He probably got it from eating fleas…gross! I haven’t seen fleas on him.
The vet wants me to give him a topical flea treatment like Advantage or Frontline. I have read somewhere that pregnant women should avoid flea treatments. I asked the vet receptionist and she wasn’t sure. I tried emailing my midwife and she has not gotten back to me.
So does anyone know? If I give it to him, do I need to not touch him for a certain amount of time…

My 4-month Yorkie has been vomiting for the last three hours. I will take him to the vet early in the morning, but I would like to know if there is something that I can do until tomorrow.
On Monday I took my baby to the vet for his last tape worms treatment, and told the vet that my puppy was vomiting after eating grass, so he gave me a special food and antibiotics that I have to give him for five days. My dog was doing fine until tonight when he threw up all his food and now he is vomiting a yellow liquid.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
BTW I have been watching him every time he goes outside so he won’t eat grass, but I am not sure if he ate something else this time, because he is really fast when picking things with his mouth from the road or grass, even when wearing his harness.
