Intestinal worms are not all microscopic as one correspondent claimed. Some are a few millimeters long and very much visible in feces. There are however, tapeworms that left untreated will grow almost as long as the intestine itself, you’d certainly see that if you watched it come out.
Why are you so worried though? Get treated and get rid of the worms, they are parasites and drain your well-being.
There are no anthelmintic drugs that will break them down sufficiently that you won’t see something emerge. But, that’s not the issue, you just need to kill them before they cause you further harm. Just don’t look in the bowl after you “finish”

My pup has worms, she had one dose at the vet (bananna flavored stuff), and I gave her a second dose (with orders from the vet) this past friday. She still has worms in her pooop. So my question is, how long should it take for all the worms to be killed?

My dog is due for his third dose of Pyrantel tomorrow. he is still passing worms is this normal. I have my other dogs on pills containing Ivermectin to prevent them from infection.
