They were small tape worms and they seemed gone immediately and today they are like an inch long. It’s extremely disguisting and I have no idea what I should use. I know I could just go to the vet, but I’m really tight with money right now and would rather just buy whatever product I need. Any help would be grateful. Thanks!
My 8-week old puppy has roundworms, she was diagnosed after a vet visit along with coccidia. The vet gave her Strongid T, she was taken to the vet on Tuesday and vet administered the dewormer and today is Friday and she is still excremiting worms, some dead and alive. Is this normal or should I still call the vet back and let her know that she is still passing worms. Also I gave her an Interceptor tablet today which is a heartworm pill which also protects against worms. Should I be concerned?

I do not know ‘’safe-guard”, but if it is something sold at a pet store (or any retail store), then probably not.
It’s best not to take risks with deworming medication. Plus, without a proper diagnosis of the worms, you may be trying to treat the wrong kind!
Best thing is to take the dog to the vet, have the worms properly diagnosed so you can get the right dewormer.

I think my cat ate some poo or was exposed to some outside and the dog has giardia.
She somehow escaped the house and now I think she might get it from the dog.
I gave her some dewormer but will this help??

it protect ur dog from worms…u needto give him a tablet everymonth excactly on the same day…i like the 24 for some reaseon! pick a day u will remember! THEY NEED IT!!
